What you could earn doing nails from home

Real numbers, so you can do the maths yourself. These are examples, not promises.

R200–R360what Cape Flats salons charge for a gel or rubber base set (their Booksy price lists, 7 Oct 2026)
about R36product cost per rubber base set, at real SA supplier prices
R120–R150suggested home price for your first 10 clients, then R180–R250 a set

Example maths

  • Charge R200 a set, spend about R36 on product = about R164 for you.
  • 8 clients a week at that price = about R1,300 a week, before your time and travel.
  • At R164 a set, about 13 sets cover the R2,000 course fee.
